Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 30, 2026
This policy explains what data the game Oath of Ashes (Android package com.ashoath.mmorpg) and this website collect, why, and what you can do about it. The game is published by FYapps (“we”). Contact: support@oathofashes.app.
What we collect
- Google Play Games player ID. When you sign in, Google gives our server a player identifier and your Play Games display name. We do not receive your email address, contacts or Google password.
- Game data. Your character, items, progress, clan membership, rankings and friends list, stored on our server so you can play on any device.
- Chat messages you send in game, so other players can read them and so we can act on reports of abuse.
- Purchase records. For in-app purchases we receive the Google Play order ID, product and purchase token to verify and deliver the item. Payment details (card numbers etc.) are handled by Google and never reach us.
- Technical data. IP address and connection logs, used for security, to limit abuse (for example mass account creation) and to fix errors. Older test builds may also have used a device identifier to recognise returning players.
What we do not do
- No advertising and no ad tracking.
- We do not sell or rent personal data.
- We do not use your data to build advertising profiles.
Why we use it
To run the game and keep your progress (performance of our agreement with you), to verify purchases, to keep the game safe and fair, for example against cheating and abuse (our legitimate interest), and to answer support requests.
Who processes it
- Google (Google Play, Google Play Games Services, Google Play Billing) under Google’s own privacy policy.
- Our hosting provider, which runs our game servers in the European Union (Germany).
- Cloudflare provides our domain name and DNS.
- Unity Technologies provides the game engine and in-app purchase framework.
- This website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when you visit.
How long we keep it
Game data is kept while your account exists. Connection logs are kept for up to 30 days. Server backups are kept for up to 14 days. Purchase records may be kept longer where tax or accounting law requires it.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or delete your account and data at any time (see Delete Account). Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA) you may also object to processing or complain to your data protection authority.
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, for important changes, tell players in game.
